Kristin is enrolled in Belmont University’s Mental Health Counseling program and will graduate in 2027. Counseling is her second career, after working for over twenty years as a hairstylist in Nashville. Kristin is also a published author of fiction and holds a BA in English Literature from Belmont University.

As a neurocomplex creative herself, Kristin specializes in working with creative and neurodivergent individuals and couples, as well as folks working through religious trauma, codependency, and challenging attachment dynamics. She loves to support women through the changes of perimenopause and menopause, and at age 50. Entering the therapy field at a more mature age means that Kristin brings extensive lived experience and deep personal work into the therapy room. She is comfortable discussing a wide range of issues and topics with clients, and encourages them to bring their true selves, thoughts and feelings. She has always enjoyed hanging out in the deep end of conversations. Her approach to therapy is relational, analytic, systemic, and attachment based. She also uses IFS parts work, somatic therapy, and nervous system education and regulation with clients.

Outside of her therapeutic work, Kristin enjoys reading and writing fiction, hiking in nature, cooking and trying out new restaurants, watching independent films at The Belcourt, and spending time with loved ones.
